Meet Moradeyo Adeyi
Moradeyo Adeyi, LCSW is a social worker, and adjunct professor, supporting first year graduate students at Columbia University School of Social Work in their foundational course, Decolonizing Social Work. Moradeyo possesses a strong desire to cultivate inclusive and anti-oppressive workspaces through training and education.At Hunter College she also teaches the Practice Lab on Oppression with the purpose of introducing core antiracist frameworks and approaches to the social work graduate students with the goal that students come away with skills for incorporating social justice models into their work and lives. Moradeyo also works in private practice as a Mental Health psychotherapist. Additionally, Moradeyo serves as a birth/wellness coach and doula, supporting expecting parents on their family planning journeys. Moradeyo earned her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University in 2012.
